Duke of Edinburgh

Do you know that you can work towards achieving your Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) award with us? We accept DoE students at either Silver or Gold level awards and would be delighted to discuss this with you. As a small charity, the work and time that you would contribute would be invaluable to our organisation and to the swans so please get in touch!

For more information please contact: enquires@swanlifeline.org.uk

You will need to have your own transport to get to and from our rescue centre as we are a 20-minute walk from the nearest train station. We plan for a commitment of 3-4 hours of work a week (including over the weekend if required). Our work, which is covered by public liability insurance, can be wet and messy so you will need to dress for the job.
Our DBS-checked staff will provide you with all the necessary training and information to make sure your time with us is safe, enjoyable and rewarding.

We provide tea, coffee and drinks but you will need to bring your own snacks and lunches.

We are happy to complete any paperwork needed as proof of your time spent with us.

Please get in touch with us if you are interested to know more.
