Fundraising

We are always looking for help with fundraising and are always happy to hear from people with new and original fundraising ideas.

• OPEN DAY
  
  We always need help preparing for and organising our Open Day at Cuckoo Weir. Could you supply and run a game. Can you spare the day to help on one of the stands. Could you bake some cakes for the Cake Stall. Do you have any swan pictures/ornaments, etc. which we could sell?
  
  
• ANNUAL DRAW
  
  Can you sell tickets for an annual draw. We generally run a draw with three or four superior prizes and those who work in offices are often very helpful at selling tickets on our behalf.
• CAR BOOT or GARAGE SALE
  
  
• COFFEE MORNINGS
  
  Could you organise a coffee morning. We can supply swan items for sale.
  
  
• COLLECTING BOXES
  
  Do you have a pub, shop, office, hairdressers, bank, pet food shop, etc. where you could place a collecting box? This is a very cost effective way of raising funds. We also need people to empty boxes in various areas.

• FOREIGN COINS AND OLD UK CURRENCY
  
  We accept all foreign currency left over from holidays and also old UK currency.
  
  
• PARTY PLAN
  
  Some of our supporters donate the proceeds from Tupperware and similar parties.
  
  
• PLANT SALES
  
  Plant and similar/garage sales can be held from a driveway.
  
  
• STREET COLLECTIONS/SUPERMARKET COLLECTIONS
  
  Could you organise a collection in your own town? Local volunteers would be happy to help.
  
  
• SWAN LIFELINE STAND AT VILLAGE FETES OR GREEN FAIRS
  
  Could you run a Swan Lifeline stand at your local Village Fete, etc. Many events even offer free or reduced rates to Charities for stands. We can supply swan items to sell including many items with the logo.
